Un’amicizia lunga quasi quanto una vita per i due djs incontrati per la prima volta a Brighton, quando Norman “Fatboy Slim” era ancora un dj poco affermato e Carl Cox era già il re della cittadina che lo ha ospitato sin da piccolo e ha supportato il dj in giro per tutto il paese.
Un’amicizia che si è ripetuta nel tempo, tra residencies ibizenche allo Space, ospitate nei parties di Fatboy Slim o ritrovi casuali in scaletta in festival e eventi in giro per ilmondo.
Un’amicizia che si è immediatamente messa a disposizione dell’evento per la celebrazione della mostra Sweet Harmony: Rave Today, dedicata al mondo del raving inglese e di tutto il contorno della “seconda” Summer Of Love. La location è stata la galleria Saatchi di Londra, attrezzata in una sala speciale con mixer e cdj per ospitare i due superstar djs. L’effetto è stato esplosivo, con il sound di entrambi a caratterizzare l’andamento, la felicità di entrambi nell’essere assieme e divertirsi come bambini.
